CompareNodes steps into the role of Official Watcher at the Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DIN)

CompareNodes joins DIN as Official Watcher

We are honored that we have partnered with the Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DIN). Together with Infura, Chainstack, Allnodes, Grove, InfStones, Validation Cloud and others, CompareNodes will work to build and deliver the next generation of decentralized services for everyone.

The initial group of 18 infrastructure partners was announced in November 2023 which have now been expanded to include 60 companies.

DIN’s Mission

One of the key goals for the DIN initiative is to deliver RPC services whose failover is enabled by DIN providers. In future releases, infrastructure providers will be able to tap into the decentralized marketplace of features and leverage their own identities and APIs. Moreover, MetaMask users will be able to connect to DIN via Infura and other DIN providers.

Official Watcher Role

Unlike most of the DIN partners, CompareNodes will not serve RPC responses to end users but instead will be onboarding and monitoring the health of nodes. As the Official Watcher of DIN, we will conduct benchmarks for Providers which are infrastructure providers of DIN, by using standard stack of k6, Prometheus, and Grafana. Providers will be benchmarked from 27 AWS regions, making sure that coverage is as global as possible.
